It’s another minor thing, but it’s really annoying as it won’t let me do anything in the app until the timer finishes.I’m sorry this seems so critical – it is a great app, but this is the only way I could leave feedback. For more information, see the developer’s privacy policy. Been using it for years, still had my details amd training logs of 2013!!! 😳 never used anything else, love the training suggestions and details on how to get it right! Only one thing, if the iOS app can talk to Huawei GT that would be great, I only get timer notifications! But a 5 star is deserved for all the effort put into this app.

Workout logs aren’t shown on when attempting that day again, even if you select these settings in the options. Last update seems to have wiped viewable body stats from displaying (ie weight / body fat %). App now seems to have some combination of dark theme running through it which makes it look rediculous on ios13. When you find a usable version that just works you are almost tempted to stop all auto updates in iOS and manually update all other apps just so you don’t get put out by these devs.Really a shame as this app does have a lot of potential. I’ve tried working out without logging it, and it just doesn’t work for me.

The set counters were removed from the training outline page so you can’t see how much you’ve done at a glance anymore. Inputting your weight and reps has become more convoluted, resetting itself each time to a less intuitive scroller option instead of just using the keyboard, which was fine. The graph to track your progress makes no sense either.

Timer will freeze so you have to keep tapping the screen to keep it moving. Also the notification to let you know to begin is not as smooth as it is in the phone app. It also would be nice to swap exercises on the watch like you can in the app-I know this is picky but it’s a great feature.

  • I have earned the points on each workout at least once, so I know they’re all valid.
  • We have worked continuously to improve the app in all areas since this review was posted, we hope you like the upgrades and will consider updating your review.
  • I should be eligible for an Elite membership by now but I’m still quite a distance off.
  • Have contacted JEFIT a number of times and they don’t have an answer for me, other than asking over and over again the same questions (which operating system device, does it happen on the web app etc…) although I answer them every time….
  • I just hope this review will get some action from them on this issue…

Rest timer still buggy

Love this app, don’t get me wrong, but recently I tried to input body stats, and now it won’t update any from the one I put in a month ago, it will let me put the data on, but then just saves it as the old input…. Have contacted JEFIT a number of times and they don’t have an answer for me, other than asking over and over again the same questions (which operating system device, does it happen on the web app etc…) although I answer them every time…. Now it ‎jefit workout planner gym log on the app store has been “passed on the the developer” but nothing has happened since then… Very disappointed as I ha e been paying for this for a number of years now….Other than this hiccup, I actually have no other issues…

Free workouts and it allows you to track your fitness journey. I appreciate the fact that you have workout pictures and it’s all categorized, i have learned so many different workouts. Needs improvements on the different icons and what they do, had to play around before i knew what they are all for. Improvements- Meal plans would be cool, and hiding the discover page, I don’t want to keep looking at the discover page which is only full of my own stuff.

I have been logging and tracking my workouts on apple notes for the past year, having built a huge list of exercises and reps/sets/weights performed daily. This made it so confusing to keep track and understand what’s going on in my notes as the list grew and grew so long. (Rather then using my watch, a clock in the gym or having to download another app). Overall lifesaver of an app and couldn’t recommend it enough to gym lovers.

  • For more information, see the developer’s privacy policy.
  • All my pre-made workouts satisfy the requirements of a ‘valid workout’ so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be receiving them.
  • The developer, Jefit Inc., indicated that the app’s privacy practices may include handling of data as described below.

I can’t track my progress, remember previous exercises, reps, weights, etc. I like the fact that I can build my own workout, or load a selected plan, and can see the numbers related to my workout, so I can gauge individual workouts, track and build my progress, and feel proud of my accomplishments. I haven’t switched because it’s so easy to use. It has plenty of work outs for every muscle group. You can even break down your routines by group or use one of their many pre made plans for all levels of expertise. One of my favorite features is how it will give you a detailed break of how much your working each muscle so you can have an overall full body balanced work out.

It will also let you know when your muscles are ready to be stressed again so you don’t over work and give them time to rest. I have recommended to all my friends and family that have started working out and they enjoy it also. It makes for some friendly competition and accountability. The four star is because they just updated the app to function better with the Apple Watch, but it’s still glitchy.

I just hope this review will get some action from them on this issue… Even without the subscription there is enough on this app for me. I’m working out with just dumbbells and there is a 3 day program which is absolutely brilliant for beginners. Helps keep track of workouts and you get comparisons with previous workouts.
